The third shader from the top in the list (prod80 ContrastBrightnessSaturation) has very simple sliders for adjusting brightness to fit your setup. That said, I play on a laptop with a very bright screen, so it's possible that the presets might be a hair on the dark side for some monitors. Recommended character lighting during gameplay is 40 or lower (I play on 0). The UI doesn't play well with the bokeh from ADOF, though, so it's kinda more of a novelty than something you'd want to use all the time. It's a little wonky sometimes, but as long as you don't mind scenes here and there where the focus isn't quite on the right person or the blur doesn't kick in at all, it creates nearly movie-quality cutscenes that are truly stunning to look at.

I tried a few older versions (v3.3.0 and v3.1.2) to see if it was some sort of regression, but got the same results. ini file also isnt located automatically with relative paths on dx9. I don't want to change the feeling of the game, I just want to enhance it (and according to my monitors settings). Relative paths work just fine for Pirates Curse, but Riskys Revenge only works when I use absolute paths. The cinematic gameplay preset features a toned-down DoF blur that kicks into effect when zoomed in, as well as during cutscenes. I've spent hours and hours carefully tweaking my Reshade to work in different areas, different lighting, day and night, and doing my damnest to stay true to the vanilla feel, atmosphere and vibrance. The only thing that isn't stock with the presets are the lights I set in gpose.

A preset that makes the game look sharper but also softer, with a pearly glow and skin tone-friendly saturation The DOF (blur) and extra bloom can be toggled on and off, as the base preset is made to be CAS- and gameplay-friendly.
